Does WP Booking System sync with Airbnb?
Yes. You can connect Airbnb and WP Booking System using iCalendar (.ics) feeds, so your availability stays aligned across both calendars.
Is the Airbnb sync two-way?
It can be. To get two-way availability sync, export the iCal link from WP Booking System and import it into Airbnb, then export the iCal link from Airbnb and import/sync it into WP Booking System.
Is it real-time sync? How often does it update?
It’s not instant “real-time.” Airbnb updates connected calendars on its own schedule (typically every few hours). In WP Booking System, iCal feeds are cached and refreshed hourly by default (you can change the refresh interval), and you can manually refresh iCal data anytime.
What data is synced between Airbnb and WP Booking System?
Only availability (booked/blocked dates) is synced via iCalendar. Prices and booking restrictions are not synced through iCal.
Do I need the Premium version for Airbnb iCal sync?
Yes. iCalendar Sync / Import / Export is included as an extra feature of the Premium version.
Can I sync multiple Airbnb listings (or multiple platforms)?
Yes. You can add multiple iCalendar feeds (for example, one per listing or platform). If you sync across several platforms, make sure each platform is connected both ways where needed, so availability stays consistent everywhere.
Imported Airbnb dates appear as “Available”. How do I fix it?
Remove the feed and add it again, then make sure you assign imported events to your “Booked” (or equivalent) legend item in the “Import iCal Events As” setting.
My Airbnb calendar isn’t updating on my website. What should I check?
First, manually refresh iCal data from the calendar’s iCal Import/Export page. If you use a caching plugin, exclude the page where your calendar is embedded from caching, otherwise updates may not appear on the front-end right away.
