Booking Restrictions

Once you activate the Booking Restrictions Add-on, a new tab will appear in the Form Editor page, called Booking Restrictions.

Restrictions are attached per form and will apply to every calendar that is embedded with the form.

Be careful, enabling Booking Restrictions for a form will cause the minimum_days, maximum_days, booking_start_day and booking_end_day shortcode attributes not to be taken into consideration.

After you enable Booking Restrictions, you will be able to configure a General Rule which is applied to all the dates, and you can add an unlimited number of Custom Period Rules which will override the General Rule.

The conditions you can configure are:

  • Date range – the starting and ending date the rule applies to. Only available for Custom Period rules
  • The stay length – a minimum or maximum number of days the booking must contain
  • Minimum stay length based on the starting day of the week – set a custom minimum stay for each day of the week.
  • Endorce specific days – force the booking to start or end on any day of the week. You can set multiple start or end days.
  • Advance reservation – the minimum and maximum advance reservation restrictions refer to the minimum or maximum periods for how far in advance guests can book.
