Stripe Integration

Getting the Stripe API Keys

To allow users to pay with Stripe you must add your Stripe API Keys to your plugin.. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to your Stripe account at
  2. Once logged in, go to Developers -> API Keys.
  3. On this screen you will see your Publishable Key and Secret Key. Notice that you have a button in the top right corner which allows you to switch between Test and Live modes.
  4. Copy these keys in WP Booking System -> Settings -> Payments -> Stripe. See the section below for details.

We strongly recommend you first test the payment integration using the test mode. You can use these test credit card numbers, provided by stripe: Also make sure you enable Sandbox mode from the plugin’s settings.

After everything is set up and tested, you can disable Test mode from the plugin and start receiving payments.

To enable Stripe you need to activate it by clicking the “Active” toggle.

After you activate it, here are the options you can configure:

  • Display Name – the name of the Payment Method your website visitors will see when making a booking.

Below these settings are the Stripe API credential fields.
